previously deleted blog, now I want same address

  I created a blog years ago…I deleted it. Now I want to create one once again with the same address.

  It’s too bad you deleted the blog and will not be able to recover the URL. Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled and that’s why there are 3 warnings given as well as clicking a verification link in an email to delete a blog.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
