Previously moderated commenters are ending up in Spam or worse

Is anyone else having this issue? My comments are set so that previously approved commenters don’t go through moderation unless they include a hyperlink in their comment. However, several long standing commenters are having their comments held in Spam ( no links in their comments) and some are presumably being ‘eaten’ by Akismet and not even getting to Spam. The commenters haven’t changed their email addresses so why is this happening?

Hi there,
Th issue is known to Staff who are working to address it. Everyone who is having issues with legitimate comments or forums posts being caught as spam should fill out the Akismet contact form so that they can look at your account.

Thanks so much – I did try a search but nothing came up using my search terms, always a bit tricky. will tell my friends who are having particular issues with this, and send them link to this thread.

Thankyou titi, I think Akismwt staff have been excellent in responding as well as can under circumstances. Thankyou for your help as always Z
