previously purchased domain help!

  Hi, I bought my domain at godaddy.com. I went to register it to my wordpress but then wordpress said to “map” it to my blog (I’m not sure if I am using the lingo right, I’m not a tech person), the site said asked how I’d like to pay. I already bought my domain, why do I have to pay to add it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Domain Registration and Domain Mapping are distinct services, and you will need both in order to use an existing domain with your WordPress.com site.
