Previously working Fine Art America embed code no longer showing up?

Fine Art America embed code is suddenly not working to show my artwork on my blog. I’ve had no problem with it before, but now it seems the code is being stripped out. I see the images in my draft and preview, but when published the image is gone! Please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
All the images from various posts on the blog have disappeared. Here is the best example: https://snooze2awaken.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/a-year-of-birds-ink-paintings-by-sol-luckman/.
They were showing up fine and suddenly, a few days ago, they disappeared and only a text link for each is viewable even though in the backend the code is still there and the images appear.
Any thoughts on why I’ve never had a problem with this embed code before and now it won’t show the images and has even retro-stripped them from previous posts?
Thanks so much for your help!

So, looking into that, I’m not sure that this is an issue on our end. For example, the code for the first missing image on that page is:
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://sol-luckman.artistwebsites.com/featured/as-the-crow-flies-original-painting-sol-luckman.html"><img style="border: none;" title="Photography Prints" src="http://sol-luckman.artistwebsites.com/displayartworkartistwebsites.html?id=2665357&width=250&height=185" alt="Photography Prints" /></a></p>The image you are trying to insert is:
If you try to view that image URL on its own, you get an error message saying that the image cannot be displayed because it contains errors.
-
Hmmm, now looking into it further, I think I see the issue. Or at least, AN issue.
http://sol-luckman.artistwebsites.com/displayartworkartistwebsites.html?id=2665357&width=250&height=185Your code had “&” instead of just “&” in the IMG html. If you use the & URL, you get that error message. If you replace “&” with just “&” you get to the image.

Oh man, I realize that that last post makes no sense because the forum keeps reformatting my text. Let me try like this:
Your code had "&" instead of just "&" in the IMG html URL. If you use the "&" URL, you get that error message. If you replace "&" with just "&" you get to the image.I am unsure if this will work… (my apologies for this confusion, I don’t know why the forum keeps messing with my posts).

Sigh, this is very frustrating.
Okay, here is a screenshot of what I am trying to type to you:
Here is a tinyurl link to the INCORRECTLY formatted URL:
Here is a tinyurl link to the CORRECTLY formatted URL:
Let me know if this makes any sense at all. I realize this forum software isn’t helping things and is probably making things much worse.

staff-ozmodiar, this is an unexpected wrinkle. Wasn’t always like this…
Both of those were: & a m p ;
-
Yeah, I don’t remember it always being like that either. At the very least, when enclosed by the “code” tag, things should display just as you type them.
-
Thanks for your response. I’ll look into this. I’ve always copied and pasted the html embed code as is from Fine Art America and it’s displayed perfectly, and now it’s like something in WordPress is changing it when it is published, but retroactively as well since it’s affecting previous posts. Like I said, they show up in drafts and previews in the backend. So, it’s difficult to know what to do if the system is changing it anyway.

Oh, yeah, so you’re right, when I remove the amp; the image appears, but it won’t hold this change in the editor! It keeps putting it back in the link whether I use the classic editor or new editor. Seems like a new glitch. What can be done?

Hi,
I tested it with both editors and the same thing happened. Here is the page I’ve been working with: https://snooze2awaken.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/a-year-of-birds-ink-paintings-by-sol-luckman/. -
So, given that this was working previously, I suspect that something changed on the Fine Art American end. Something about how they handle those URLs.
Instead of changing the URL in the text view, maybe try reinserting the image in the visual view using the correct URL and see if that works?

Hi,
I just tried that and upon saving it still removed the image. It doesn’t seem like it has to do with Fine Art America. Any other thoughts? -
So, it looks like this is going to take more of a deeper dig. I will update you ASAP as soon as I have more info.
-
Thanks for looking into this further. The code works perfectly fine on my websites and elsewhere, so it must have something to do with the WordPress blog that changed.
