Previous/Next at the top of posts
-
Many WordPress blogs have the ability to add a previous/next button at the top of each of the posts. Sometimes they say “previous/next” and sometimes they simply list the titles of the posts written before/after the current one. I’d love to see this addition to WordPress.com.

It’s probably theme dependent. It shows up in Cutline (example at http://esladventures.wordpress.com/2008/01/03/we-now-return-you/ ) and Neat (example at http://dark2light.wordpress.com/2008/01/01/happy-new-year/ ).

Typically that will only show on the single-post page (after you click on the title of a post on the main page). I tried several themes just now (Andreas09, Mistylook and Black Letterhead) and Mistylook did not have the links but Andreas09 and Black Letterhead did. -
I linked a picture and a name on http://jimenarte.wordpress.com (Black Letterhead again), to go to the name’s post, but when it comes up, the sidebar has disappeared. The link URLs have ‘/page/3’ in them, for instance, but they’re supposed to be posts, not pages. What have I done wrong?

On the single post page, Black Letterhead does NOT show the sidebar. That’s the way the theme was designed.
