Price Clarification and Set Up

    1. Is the $26/yr for a domain after one year included in the business plan? (we have a domain already)
    2. What is the Ultimate plan? I haven’t been able to find information on it but I keep seeing it mentioned on the wordpress website and chat forums.
    3. How long does it take for a site to be live on wordpress once redirect is set up?

    Hey there, welcome to our community!

    1. We have a promotion where you can get a free domain for the first year with an annual purchase. After that, the domain price is separate from the plan, and the cost just depends on which domain you choose. You can find pricing here.
    2. I’m not sure about the Ultimate Plan, but we’d be happy to help you find the right plan for your needs! What do you have in mind for your site? I would say our VIP plan is our ultimate offering, but most people won’t need that. Most sites work very well within Premium, Business, or our eCommerce plan, depending on their needs.
    3. The sites go live fairly quickly; usually we’ll have an SSL certificate set up for you within a few hours at most. And then it’s just a matter of waiting for the internet to catch up with your changes. Typically that’s just a few hours.

    Thanks for the info and quick response. To clarify, we have a domain already and would just be redirecting. If we use our current domain, is it free for the first year and $26/yr after that? (We are thinking of getting the Business plan).

    All of our plans (Business included) have the option to connect a domain that you own with another provider. As an added savings if you choose the annual billing option (not monthly) you can transfer the domain to us and we will waive the transfer fee. Also when the domain is transferred, we bump the renewal date by one year, so you get a year of registration for free as well.

    We’re also happy to clarify if you have any questions about the plan and what features it includes. We’re also happy to hear a bit more about your site if you’d like to share, and we can confirm that the Business plan is appropriate or if your needs will be met by our Premium plan instead.
