Price of Domain .US and time transfer.

  Hello!

  Do I have 2 questions?

  1) I saw in WordPress website the Domain .us per $18,00 is it right? The same on Hostgator I saw per $5.95, why this difference?

  2) If I transfer the Domain for WordPress why I need to wait 60 days?

  Hi,

  1) .us is not on the list of supported extensions (TLDs) on WordPress.
  You can see the list and their prices here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/

  2) If you already have a domain with another host, your current host may require at least 60 days from the registration date or last transfer before a domain is eligible to transfer. Meaning: you need to have had it registered with them for at least 60 days and not made any changes to the contact information.

  3) Once you successfully start to transfer a domain (with a TLD supported by WordPress), the domain transfer should complete in five to seven days.
