  Hello, I am using free service but am thinking about upgrading. I had a look at your Pricing page and the Domain prices section but I do not understand. If I want a personal plan for £3 per month (paying yearly), will it still incur costs for the domain after a year? And the price will depend on the name of the domain for example $18 per year (for example, for .com) PLUS £3 per month? Many thanks.

  That is correct.

  Domain registration is included for the first year. But after that, the price will be the monthly plan price + the cost of yearly domain renewal.

  Thank you. If I don’t want the new domain and stay with wordpress.com, then will I only pay plan price? I only want to get rid of advert. Thanks.

  Yes, if you do not want to pay for the domain after the first year and keep the plan, you can do so in order to keep the ads removed from your site.
