Hi ,
We are a student group looking to use WordPress to possibly host our online magazine. I’m looking to find out if there is a way we can pruchase the domain for £15 then possibly upgrade our theme later. Is this possible? Also I’ve struggled to find out all the cost of hosting etc. We have to pitch for money for the site so could you give me an up to date pricing list. I sm atuggling to find one that is up to date and in pounds rather than dollars. Could you provide a £/up to date version of the below pricing structure?
Domain: £12/year
Hosting: $10/month – $30/month
Premium Theme: $50-$200
Premium Plugins: $15-$200 (each; some are one-time purchases, others are monthly/annual licenses.)
Rough Totals: $200-$1,000+Many thanks,

I would like to create a liitle social network with philanthropic reasons (don’t expect to get money on it), but I’m having trouble to find information here too…

Would I get rid of the Domain and hosting price? Do you have any kind of contingence in this plan?Many thanks

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different.
WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/
