Pricing plans

    I have looked for ways to contact WordPress.com support about this, but can’t seem to find a way. Does anyone know whether multisite support is available for the business plan (or another plan?). I am interested in being able to host a site which has multiple sub-sites where people could have different themes on their pages, but would all be under the same domain. For example:

    pages.mydomain.com
    — john’s site (has one theme)
    — mary’s site (has a different theme)
    — alanna’s site (yet another theme)

    Is that possible? And which pricing plan would include it?

    Thanks,

    Joseph

    Hi Joseph,

    As you’ve described it, that is not something that you can do with WordPress.com.

    You can contact https://vip.wordpress.com/ since you can have multisite setup through them.

    Use this form to get in touch with them: https://vip.wordpress.com/contact/

  • Hi there,

    WordPress.com is already a multisite network, so you cannot create a multisite network on a WordPress.com site, even on our Business Plan.

    For what you want to do I suggest you instead look into the self-hosted option. We have some information on self-hosted WordPress here:

    @yashitamittal11, While WordPress VIP does support multisite networks, it is an enterprise hosting platform where plans start at around $5000 a month. That is not the first place I’d refer someone who’s asking questions about the $300 a year Business Plan :)

    @kokkieh: Wow! $5000 is a big amount.
    I just saw a thread where the staff suggested WordPress VIP.
    Will keep in mind not to suggest this to a user who is looking for a low-cost plan. :)
