    Do the monthly/annual plans include managed hosting services?
    If I start with a monthly plan and want to upgrade to an annual plan can I do that at any time?

    Do the monthly/annual plans include managed hosting services?

    Yes, even our free sites use our managed hosting, optimized for the needs of WordPress. Your capabilities do go up by upgrade though. For example on our Business Plan you have access to SFTP, database, one-click restores, and plugin/theme uploads, but those options are not present on our lower plans, even though they are both on our managed hosting.

    It’s worth noting that if you choose the yearly (instead of monthly) billing option, a free domain is included for the first year. As well the yearly option includes live chat support on our premium, business, and ecommerce plans whereas the monthly option does not.

    Yes you can switch anytime, though to do so you will need the help of staff since it’s not something you can handle on your end. When you switch we would bill the full cost of the yearly plan at that point.

    For example if switch from the monthly plan to the yearly plan in May 2023, your expiration date for the yearly plan would be May 2024. There is not a way to apply your monthly cost as “credit” toward a yearly plan, but if you upgrade to the yearly plan you will get a full 12 months of service.

    Renewal cost varies based on the extension your domain uses so .com/org/net are currently $19/yr USD.     Free email tends to be very minimal and does not offer robust spam filtering so we don’t recommend it, nor do we offer a free email option. We do offer Professional Email (powered by Titan) that is functionally similar to Gmail but can use your custom URL. If you want to go fully professional we also offer Google Workspace as an option as well.
