Pricing question

I already have a blog, one of the free ones and I am thinking about changing to a premium site. The question I have is when I look at the pricing for a premium site it says $99 annually but when I look at the them in mind it says buy for $69. So what does that mean? Am I renting the site for the $99 or am I buying it outright, it’s mine for $69??? Please clarify.

The $ 99.- / year gives you certain upgrades, you need to renew that each year to keep them, don’t buy the $99.- package unless you need enough of the single upgrades to save money – for instance register a domain name and map it is $18.- / year – so if all you want is a new name the $99.- / year package does not make sense
If you buy a Theme (many are $68.-) that is a one time good forever cost – no annual fee – you can transfer the theme to a different blog if you want in the future – but you can only have one copy of the theme running

Thank you for your quick response. So I’m new at this and I want to have a slide show on my current site but as a free theme it does not allow that so if I pay the $69 whatever options are available for that theme I will be able to use those all I want including the slide show?

Themes and fancy are not my best – but seems to me slide shows are built into some themes – maybe for the header or featured Posts – sorry can’t remember more – I know Galleries are standard on all themes here
Best bet is to open a new thread and put something like “slide show help”,,,, of some sort in the title – then someone that knows about slide shows can help –
