Primary domain and other domains

  Hello, my primary domain is gunsandrange.com. I also own a domain for securitytrainingschool.net which basically points to the primary domain. Can securitytrainingschool.net be a separate independent site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there.

  Absolutely! Looking over your account, I can see that your two domain are currently associated with securitytrainingschool.wordpress.com and that you have a second, separate WordPress.com site, gunsandrange.wordpress.com. If you’d like, you can transfer your gunsandrange.com domain mapping to gunsandrange.wordpress.com via My Upgrades:

  https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades

  Select the ‘Transfer to another site’ option underneath gunsandrange.com on the above page and follow the screen prompts to transfer it to gunsandrange.wordpress.com.

  Do you wish to continue using gunsandrange.com with WordPress.com? I noticed that the name servers for that domain aren’t currently pointing towards us. Let me know if you no longer wish to use it with WordPress.com and I can go ahead to remove it from your account here.

  Thanks for your reply.

  I actually need two separate websites – gunsandrange.com and securitytrainingschool.net

  How can I have it?

  Right now you have both gunsandrange.com and securitytrainingschool.net setup on your WordPress.com site securitytrainingschool.wordpress.com.

  You already have a second site setup at gunsandrange.wordpress.com , so we just need to transfer gunsandrange.com to that site, and you’ll be ready to go with two separate websites.

  1. Visit https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades
  2. Underneath your Domain Mapping upgrade for gunsandrange.com, click on ‘Transfer to another site’
  3. Select gunsandrange.wordpress.com , then click Transfer Product

  Once you do that, you’ll have two separates sites, one for each domain.

  It didn't help.When I type securitytrainingschool.net in the address bar i get automatically redirected to gunsandrange.com

  Hi there,

  I made an adjustment to your settings so securitytrainingschool.net is the primary domain on securitytrainingschool.wordpress.com.

  It doesn’t redirect to http://gunsandrange.com/.

  If you’re still seeing a redirect, you may need to clear your browser’s cache and then refresh the site in Chrome:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
