hi there. i have recently bought the domain name happyhammocks.com and paid £9,

i am trying to make it the primary domain but the system is telling me i need to “Your nameservers need to be set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM and NS2.WORDPRESS.COM for these email forwards to work. If you have already updated the nameservers you can ignore this message; it will stop appearing soon.”

i cant see the option to do this anywhere. can you help?

    thanks

    Hi Ryan,

You’ve purchased the Domain Mapping upgrade, not a Domain Registration. This upgrade is intended for folks who have already purchased a domain elsewhere, and just want to use it on WordPress.com. According to this public search it appears the domain happyhammocks.com was purchased through enom.com:

    http://who.is/whois/happyhammocks.com

If you did not purchase this domain through enom or one of their resellers, then I’m sorry but happyhammocks.com would seem to be unavailable. I’d be happy to remove and refund your domain mapping upgrade.

If you did purchase that domain, you can find instructions on changing its name servers here:

    http://www.enom.com/help/faq_dns.asp

Please let me know if you need me to start that cancellation + refund.

    Best,

    -Alex G.

    Hi Alex,

I am new to All this and obviously thought I had done something I hadn’t. Can you please refund the payment?

    Many thanks

    Hi Ryan,

Domains can be a bit confusing, so don’t sweat it. :)

I’ve removed the upgrade, and refunded the £9. It may take about a week before you see the refund on a bank statement, but you can verify it in your billing history here:

    https://wordpress.com/settings/billing-history/

If you’d still like a custom domain, just follow the steps here and you can register it directly through us:
