Primary domain redirection
-
Hi,
we are moving our website over to using wordpress.com. Another person set up our site with a “temporary” domain. Now that I have taken the site over and want to point our existing main domain at the wordpress.com site, I will be switching this to the primary domain in wordpress.com.
In the meantime search engines have indexed the temporary domain.
My question is:
When I switch to using the primary domain, will the temp domain automatically redirect?
Will the search engine take this on board and rewrite the urls to point at the main domain?
Thanks,
Justin

For starters we need the REAL URL’s – “temp” and “old” “new” don’t give us enough info to give you accurate help
