Primary Menu: Change Colors

  How do I change colors on my primary menu? Apparently, it sticks with default color of red.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Your site <fwgad.org> is not hosted on WordPress.COM. It is hosted on another hosting company’s server using WordPress.ORG software.

  This forum is for WordPress.COM sites. WordPress.ORG has dedicated support forums separately.

  You will have to create a username/password and log in to post your queries there.

  You can change your Menu bar color by going to Theme –> Customize –> Colors & Background — > Palettes and choose a different palette to change the color. If you see “Manual” button instead of the “Palettes” click on it and it will change to “Palettes”.

  How do I change colors on my primary menu?

  This should do the trick for the background colour; change the purple test colour to whatever you like:

  .main-navigation {
    background-color: #bb00bb;
  }

  Add this to your Customizer’s Additional CSS panel.

  yoga1103 – thanks for pitching in here in the forums! I wanted to clarify a few things.

  You can change your Menu bar color by going to Theme –> Customize –> Colors & Background — > Palettes and choose a different palette to change the color. If you see “Manual” button instead of the “Palettes” click on it and it will change to “Palettes”.

  Palettes are a WordPress.com-only feature, so they won’t be available on a self-hosted site.
