Primary menu placement in Creative Portfolio theme

We have selected the Creative Portfolio theme for our new site, but are really appalled by the default behaviour of the primary menu. The theme allows a site logo that is quite large, but the menu seems to have been coded to only behave nicely with the tiny logo used in the theme demo. In reality, with a larger logo, the menu sits at the top right of the div, and child pages appear with a huge gap between them and the primary menu tab. It looks ridiculous. You can see what I mean here:
https://ktloghomes.wordpress.com (Services tab has child pages.)

Has anyone else dealt with this? I’m on a tight timeline and don’t relish trying to unpick the CSS to see if this is possible, but may end up having to do that (and if so, I’ll certainly share here). Great looking theme, but the logo/primary menu interaction seems to be something that got missed.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Closing as a duplicate since you already received a reply from the theme’s developer in the Creative Portfolio forum:
