Primary Sidebar

  • Unknown's avatar

When I try to edit my widgets on my sidebar, and it won’t let me add or remove any of my text within the widgets. I click the widget I want to edit and it’ll open it up and show I can edit it, but the moment I click inside of the text box where I want to edit something, it returns to the inactive state it was in before I clicked it the first time. Is there any other way I can edit my widgets or return to the classic version? I really need the ability to work on my sidebar back.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there!

I just checked your site and I was able to edit the widgets that are already on your sidebar. While the legacy “Text” widget is no longer available, the existing ones on the sidebar can be edited, and I had no issues trying this on my end.

Could you perhaps try the following steps to rule out this being a browser issue?

    * Clear the browser cache. Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
    * Try logging in from a different browser.

Let us know how that goes.
