Primary site addition

  Can anyone please help me with adding an existing site as the primary site to my WordPress account?

  Hello,

  You can log into your website and press:
  1. Domains (towards the end of the options on your left)
  2. Then you would ‘ADD’ a Domain

  Once you put in the address of your existing site, you will be able to define which is your “Primary” WordPress site from the sites on your list.

  Hi,
  Thank you for your reply.
  So sorry I am such a novice but I can’t even see where to press “Domains” in my website. Where about’s does it sit in the column menu?

  Hello,

  First visit your site and log in by adding a “/wp-login.php” after your site’s url.
  Once you are logged in, you will see an option on the top left, “My sites” – press that and you will be presented with the WordPress menu on the left. Towards the bottom, you will see the ‘Domains’ option.

  You can also add domains by going to https://wordpress.com/domains — select a site (if you have more than one) and you’ll be able to add a new domain directly.
