Primary Site vs Deleted
-
I deleted my blog, and when I click on my gravatar it sends me to the page saying my blog is no longer available instead of my new blog, which I selected as my primary. How do I fix this
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have the same problem. The link still links to the old page / blog even though it is not configured in gravatar anymore. How can this be solved?
-
@jenjosan – I think you can fix that by logging into Gravatar, clicking Websites and then changing it to your new blog: https://en.gravatar.com/profiles/edit/#your-links
@picturingtheamericas – how long has it been since you removed your site from your Gravatar profile? It may take a bit of time for things to sync.

@picturingtheamericas I visited your website (linked from your forum profile), clicked on your gravatar in the author box, and then clicked View Complete Profile. There’s only one website listed in your profile, gruenish.com, so I clicked on that and was taken to the active site. Is that not what you experience?

That is very interesting. The old page is picturingtheamericas, the new one gruenish.
The problem that I see is, if I comment on someone else’s blog and someone clicks on my name in the comment, it leads to picturingtheamericas.
One example is here: https://nearowaste.wordpress.com/2015/04/30/in-case-you-were-wondering/?c=24#comment-24
Click Inge.
Thanks much for looking at it!!

Gravatar and WordPress.com are together forever. Here’s how to link your username to another blog registered under the same username account Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Primary Blog. Where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

P.S. I just checked and the title “Primary Blog” has been changed to “Website”.

Found it! That is very well hidden. Changed it and tested by commenting on a blog post but it’s still pointing to the old blog.
I’ll check again in a couple of days.
Thanks much everyone for taking the time to respond to my question.

Checked a couple of days later and it still linked to the old page. But I found out what the problem is.
I’ve changed the ‘Primary blog’ url and that didn’t help.
Further down on the same page is a field for ‘Website’ as well. So both are configurable, but only the Website one changes where the gravatar name links to.I’m so happy to finally have this figured out. Thanks @ll.
