  Hi,

  This is my blog. http://blogontheedgeofcyberspaceplus43.wordpress.com/.

  It really needs a theme song to go with the goofy content. I want to use this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCSfMMEQezQ&feature=related
  I can also download it on mp3 possibly.

  Any suggestions on how to implement such a thing?

  I want the audio to automatically start when my web page is opened.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry forgot to mention this but I don’t have any of the upgrades. I might get them in the future. But is there any way to do it without it? I’m also using a theme.

  A space upgrade is required. Then you can use either the wp.com player or these players http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/12/05/alternative-audio-players/

  We all use themes but this is the result of clicking your username link.

  Two corrections: you don’t need the space upgrade, and you can’t use the wp.com audio player.

  Please expand. Do you mean that we can use the alternative audio players without purchasing a space upgrade?

  a) Yes, you can upload your mp3s to Fileden or other sites that allow hotlinking.
  b) OP unfortunately* wants auto-start: the wp.com audio player doesn’t have this option.

  One more question. If I wanted to hotlink it, then I would just use youtube. But it won’t start automatically. Would there be some sort of html script I can use to fix this?

  What part of the wordpress page would I insert the link?

  If you want that youtube video “to automatically start when your web page is opened”, you need to paste this into a text widget:

  [gigya src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xCSfMMEQezQ" width="190" height="154" quality="high" wmode="transparent" flashvars="fs=1&hl=en_US&autoplay=1" ]

  But be warned that to many users autoplay is highly annoying. Also, do you realize that the video will autostart again each time a visitor clicks to leave a comment or view an older post or a category page?
