Print View

    Hi support team,

My name is Derek and I have a question about printing out a form created by Gravity Forms plugin in your theme.

It seems a form has different view when I see the form from website and when I see it in preview page to print out.
I don’t know why it’s not holding on the print page.

Please focus on a name column in the below screenshot.
This is a view from website:

This is a view when printing out:

Please kindly confirm and let me know if this can be fixed.

    Regards,

    Derek

  • Hi Derek – the WordPress.com global print styles are set to display elements in a particular way that is more suited to paper than a browser. It’s these styles that are changing the display of the printed version of your form.

I’m actually quite curious as to why someone would want to print out a web form. Could you let me know? If folks need to print out a form, a PDF is generally a better format to provide, and you can more easily control the formatting.

Since you have the Business plan, I also wanted to let you know that you have access to live-chat and private email support via:

    https://wordpress.com/help/contact

You may want to use route that to get help in the future, but it’s up to you – you’re also welcome to post in the forums, though staff do not reply to every question here.
