Printing Problems: appearance of the pictures url adress in the printed text!

good morningI have pandoxeio.wordpress.com and gymnapodia.wordpress.com
I’m writing to you about two recent problems than make me sad.
A. Printing Problem
I bought a brand new printer so than I can start printing most of my blog posts.
And by my big surprise, in the printed page appears, next to the photo, its url address! And it is ugly and unpleasant because sometimes it intefers inside the text!
Is there any way that I can avoid this?B. Huge Photos Problem
Trying to fix this, I think I made things worse.
Since I saw thant most of the url addresses of the photos come from go.photo.it, I removed this add on from my pc.Not only this uninstall did not solve the problem (and again the url address was appearing, not from gophoto of course)
but also I was shocked to see than many photos in each post, now appear in a much bigger size than before! Not only in my PC but also in other friends’ PCs!!

The first 2 photos are huge
The next 2 are ok, the size I had chosen
the next 2 are huge again, etc.This always happens in my book covers photos

There are lots of folks having problems with the sizes of pictures on their blogs. There is a sticky post on top of the forums with a link to a thread with a more detailed discussion about the issue:

About the printing problems, as I already wrote, it has not to do only with gophoto. All photos now appear in the printed page with the url written near them or inside the text (!!) like this:

And about printfriendly, its is not convenient at all. Its print preview and printed page takes all photos on the right side of the text, leaving lots of them underneath it! Meaning, not at all the way they have been posted!

I researched this and it is how WordPress.com’s print stylesheet is designed to work. If you don’t like how the printing is designed to work, you have the option of purchasing the custom design upgrade which would allow you to add custom CSS to override how the print styles work by adding your own.
Another workaround would be to make it so the images are not linked. The default print stylesheet is printing out any links and it’s possible to remove links from images if you want to.

WordPress.com has changed the way image resizing settings are applied. I’m sorry it has caused you some distress!

the next 2 are huge again, etc.If you want the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th images on this page http://pandoxeio.com/2013/08/28/aithrio132christopoulos/ to be the same size as the 3rd and 4th images, go to Settings > Media in your blog dashboard and change the Medium size from 300 and 300 to 270 and 270.

Okay, thanks for the detailed report and for testing that!
I think this is a separate bug just happening for portrait oriented images. I’ve reported the issue and now we need to wait to hear back.

Indeed it has been fixed! Only I had time to look at most of the posts and they are like before, no problem at all.
