Printing to include style
-
I found some articles that are close to this question, but none actually answer it. When I go to print a blog entry it looks awful. How do I modify my blog so that when I print it includes the style of the page that I see online and doesn’t loose the formatting?

From experience, Coraline, Pilcrow, Tarski, Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven (and more) are completely print friendly and have a specific CSS sheet for printers. The rest of the themes give the results you are describing, no matter how you format your blog post.
What I did is add PrintFriendly as one of my custom sharing services at the bottom of each post and label it “Print”. That generates a clean version that is great for printing or saving as a PDF.

The PrintFriendly site isn’t bad, but am I crazy, doesn’t it seem logical that a blog site should allow the ability to print the blog pages and include the theme formatting? Are all blog sites this limited?

The issue has been raised before… by me :-) (And other people before)
