They can see the avatar which you set, which I assume is you. My advice would be to change it if you’re not comfortable with this, and then remove that avatar: https://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatars/
In terms of your email, no, nobody can see that except WordPress.com staff. The exception to that is the staff of WordPress.com sites which you comment on.
Note: This is under the assumption you do not load any of this information yourself manually onto the site.
Also, is the service free?
There is a free plan offered by WordPress.com which comes with a lot to get you started, but if you’re ever wanting to upgrades, there are upgrades too: https://wordpress.com/pricing

Hello there, Just to clarify…
In terms of your email, no, nobody can see that except WordPress.com staff.
That is true for here in the forums where email addresses are automatically redacted by our forum software. However, if you leave a comment on someone’s website *or fill out a contact form*, the email address you listed in your WordPress.com account settings will be visible to the site owner on the site where you left your comment as will your Gravater be displayed there.
