  I am setting up a new blog and want to make my blog privacy (invitation only), but I do not have “Reading” as an option under the Settings menu. Can you please help? Thank you

  Yes, it is a new blog and I am the admin. I want to set the privacy setting to “invitation only” before I post content, so I’m stuck.

  Have you published anything yet?

  Seems I’ve read some about instances where it doesn’t appear until there’s actually something to read.
