PRIVACY

I have a main blog and 2 photo blogs – but have now created a blog I want to be completely private and anonymous – as I want to discuss cancer discrimination I am experiencing at work – and cannot risk my work colleagues reading it. I have currently had to set the new cancer blog to “invites only” since my avatar and user name seem to link to my main blog (thus identifying me). I want to be able to offer links and support to otheres in the same position as me (suffering discrimination over cancer).

    So my question is:

Is there any way that I can ensure the new cancer blog does NOT link in any way to my other blogs which will identify me?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

OMG, the question above has JUST LINKED to my blog! Exactly NOT what I was expecting having posed such a question. HELP.

    j9marshall,
To have your new blog completely unconnected to your others, set up another account with a new/different email address. That way, you can have a different avatar and user name.

Also, be certain to never link your new blog in any way to your other blogs. And of course, don’t ever mention it at work.

You have put that blog in your Profile under “Website.” That is why it is linked here. If you set it to Private completely, then no-one will be able to read it if you don’t invite them.
