    I recently changed my wordpress.com site from private to public. It now shows as public and anyone can access it – but when I copy the url to a facebook post to promote the site the link still says –

    http://bathtubbran.com site is marked private by its owner. If you were invited to view this site please log in below. read more about privacy settings.

    Thanks in advance for helping to resolve this issue!

    The shortlink is allowing me to post to FB.

    I have cleared my cache and cookies and still nothing.

    I have set my privacy settings to public on all posts and pages.

    Has anyone else had this or a similar issue?
