  Hello,

  I am trying to start a school newspaper for a Middle School. I plan on using Word Press. However, I want it password protected for confidentiality purposes. How can I create it and limit only the school to be able access it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. It’s not possible to password protect an entire blog. You have two options:

  Password protect individual posts and pages. Anyone will be able to visit the blog, but only people with the password will be able to view the content. They will have to re-enter the password on every new post or page they visit. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/

  Set the blog to private. That way only people you specifically invite as viewers will be able to visit and read the blog. However, they won’t be able to accept your invite unless they register WordPress.com username accounts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
