Privacy and followers

  I recently made my blog private because I do not want some of the people who have followed me to view my blog. Will the followers I earned when I was still on a public blog be able to get email notifications of my new posts? I learned that they are still my followers even if I only allowed several users to access my site.

  Is there any chance that I can remove some of my followers?

  In short, Followers you earned while having a public site and “viewers” you invited after your site went Private are not the same thing.
