Privacy and log in issues

  My wordpress blog is displaying as private and won’t let me log in and view my blog. The settings are normal (I have checked the relevant WordPress support pages) and it is on public access and pretty much anyone can read it. I have bookmarked my dashboard as a favourite and it shows my blog name as logged in however when I click on ‘Reader’ a message comes up saying it is a private blog and that I cannot view the page. What would your advice be? (I can still currently access most things on my dashboard and put up posts, but I can’t access things like the statistics or the ‘Reader’ which I use to read other blogs). Many thanks.

  Same issue here! What’s going on? Can’t get to any of my stats but can view my dashboard for the blog.

  Tells me

  I’m logged in as myself I don’t understand what’s changed.

  I tried:
  1. Logging out and signing back in.
  2. Refreshing the browser.
  3. Logging in using “Private Browsing”.
  4. Logging in with my username vs. email address.

  None of the above has worked.
  I suspect that it is a WordPress.com internal issue.

  Just curious. I signed up to test-drive the “new interface”. Has anyone else done so? Maybe this might have something to do with it?

  Same thing is happening with mine. I haven’t signed up for anything new…. I sure am relieved that other people are having trouble too!

  I am able to log in now. Seemingly the problem has been handled internally by WordPress.com
