Privacy Intrusion
-
I have 3 papers uploaded on my private blog before realizing that certain keywords can bring strangers from research engines to find and download them freely. To prevent this, I have changed private settings, removed them from posts, and deleted these files permanently from media library. It is still there. What should I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Give us the URL of the file in question so we can check this. It’s likely you’re experiencing a caching issue or mistaking Google cache for the actual file itself.

You are indeed mistaking a Google Cache for the actual file itself. We cannot remove things from Google; you have to contact them. Note that even if you get it taken off Google (unlikely but possible) other search engines will still have it. It can take six or more months for a search engine to delete a cache file.
