  when other bloggers comment to me and I comment back, does my email address show? I see there’s, and I do not want mine to show

  If you enter it in order to comment then the answer is “yes”. Why don’t you get a throwaway email address and then replace the email address you are using now with it? http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/
  There are two main types of email notifications that you’ll receive from WordPress.com. You may want to designate a different email addresses for each of these.
