  i have made my blog unavailable to search engines, but i am still able to find it on google. why is that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It takes time until Google clears their cache. That can take 3 months time. However, for any page that returns a 404 (page not found) you can use the URL removal tool. http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2008/03/21/how-to-remove-data-from-googles-cache/

  I made my blog private….but later decided to return it to its original public setting. However, when I check the public option and click “save settings”, it reverts back to having the private option checkmarked…and evidently no change was made. What can I do about this?

  If you have carefully followed these directions and had no success http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ then you will need Staff help. All technical “fixes” must be done by Staff as only they have backend access to blogs. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
