Privacy of Media Library

  Not really a problem, just a general question. The photos that I have in the media library that I have used in blog posts, if I delete those will they be deleted from my blog posts?

  Just generally conscious of the privacy of that. The fact that they are stored on an internet site kind of bothers me, not so much for privacy but for copyright. If I am wrong, please let me know if I don’t have to worry! Haha, thank you very much.

  Hi there,

  Yes, if you delete the image out of your media library then they will be deleted off of any posts.

  Please do keep in mind that if your site has been set to be crawled by Google and other search engines however, then the images may exist on their databases as well. If you want to prevent that, you’ll want to change your settings under privacy here:
