privacy of my email

  I have been receiving invitations to https://thenewsbullet.wordpress.com via my email. How did this blog get my email??? My email is private.
  I have received this ‘invitation’ 3-4 times every 24 hours and I’ve had it. I unsubscribed but found I had unsubscribed to ALL the wordpress blogs I WANT TO FOLLOW!

  This is really annoying. How did this person get my email if I keep it private?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I can totally understand how frustrated that is to accept these invitations as it happened to me 2 weeks ago.

  The user who sent you the invitation might not know your email address as invitation can be sent to a user using the username.

  To stop receiving the invitation email, check the bottom of the invitation email you received and click on the unsubscribe link.

  Then on the Subscription Management screen, click on the Settings tab and make sure the Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com option is not selected so you’ll continue to receive updates from the blogs you followed.
