  I have been reading about the new GDPR guidelines. I just read an article posted by WordPress. I am using a free template and I am gathering that I’m all set with the cookies because the cookie banner automatically is displayed on the free sites. It appeared to me that I need to post a privacy policy on my site. Is that correct? If so, where do I start in creating that and adding it to my site?

  We cannot advise you whether or not you need a privacy policy on your site, as that would be giving you legal advice and we are not your attorneys.

  However, if you want to add one, you can use a regular page on your site to do that, and you can link to that page from any of the menus available on your site, or even from a widget area. We have some more information here:
