Privacy Policy banner doesn’t go away when clicked

  Hi,
  the popup banner ‘Privacy & Cookies: This site uses cookies. By continuing to use this website, you agree…’ keep presenting itself when clicked off. Apparently, this happens because the site refreshes when the button ‘accept’ is pressed.
  This is happening from last week, no problem before and I have made no changes.
  I am using the standard widget. Deleting it, changing it or moving it doesn’t work.
  Any idea?

  Hi there,

  Can you please remove the widget and see if the banner works correctly? If you’re on a free plan the widget is automatically displayed.

  PS: if it isn’t already there and I missed it, a warning “don’t use if free plan” into widget description should be in order

  @berloc I believe that’s more of a workaround right now since free sites may wish to customize the message and what not. We’ll share more information soon.
