Privacy question

  If my blog is changed to private but had people that followed it before, will those that followed me in the past still be able to see my blog or do they have to be invited?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  So, to clarify, anyone who followed me in the past would not be able to access my blog if I change it to private? I had another blog in the past that was set to private and I want to ensure that no one has access to it or can see any past posts.
