privacy setting help

  The instructions for making my profile not viewable to search engines says to go to settings – reader. I cannot find this ‘reader’ option. Clicking on my wordpress profile bringing me to my blog, if i hover over that button it does have a ‘settings’ tab but no ‘reader’ to be found anywhere. Please help me make my blog so it is not searchable to engine searches. thanks!

  Go to dashboard, settings, then reading (not reader), scroll down the page and look for “site visibility.” Choose the option you want.
