Privacy Setting Reminder

Why does WordPress keep asking me to update my privacy settings? I’ve completely updated my Privacy Policy page and have selected it accordingly under ‘Settings: Privacy: Change your Privacy Policy page’ but it continues to suggest I need to do something by placing the orange dot, with a ‘1’ inside of it, next to ‘Privacy’ on my dashboard toolbar. I’ve reset it to the correct Privacy Policy page several times, and it disappears for a while only reappear. I would be happy to provide you with a screenshot if needed. Thanks!
