Privacy Settings

    I’m trying to make my site private and allow select people to be viewers by providing them a link without having to add their emails one by one. There is no privacy settings available when I follow the path of mysite>settings>general. What am I missing? Don’t seem to be finding this answer in the open forum either. Please, help as I am very frustrated by this!

    Hi there,

    Your site is already private – all new sites on WordPress.com are set to private by default when they’re created, and hidden being a Coming Soon page.

    That said, the reason you don’t see the privacy settings is because you enabled the classic WordPress dashboard on your site. On the General Settings page, click Screen Options top-right, and select the WordPress.com view, and you’ll see the settings page shown in the support documents.
