If my blog is set to Public and I have a few followers and I decided to change my blog to Private, will my followers still have access to my blog? Or do I have to invite them to see it? If some bloggers who are not following me but they have seen my WordPress address, will they still be able to access my blog if I change the setting to private?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Okay, I just typed a post and put the setting as private. Now I invited all my followers to read it but I am receiving a message indicating that the person is already a WordPress user, does this mean that it was not necessary to send out invitations to my followers even if the setting on the post was private? So followers can see my blog even if one or two posts are set as private?

Having a private POST and a private BLOG are very different things.
Private posts can be read only by you. Password-protected posts can be read by anyone with the password. Neither interferes with the ability of the rest of your blog to be read.
For private Blogs, you have to invite people. If they already have a WP.com user ID, use their username to invite them. If they don’t, use their email.

just to make sure, if i changed my blog from public to private, does that mean that the followers I had wont be able to see my blog anymore? Only the USERS?
