I have set my blog to private and I just logged in 2 minutes ago and I am seeing 46 views. I do not understand how people are still accessing my blog if it is set to private. I am very disappointed with this WordPress. Very disappointed. Why have a feature if it does not work?

Hi, I have the opposite problem.
I set my blog to be public, and when I try post a link to my Facebook page it says:“http://runningclouds.wordpress.com/ is marked private by its owner. If you were invited to view this site, please log in below. Read more about privacy settings.”
Please WordPress people, help: I need my blog runningclouds.wordpress, “Diario da una città di mare” online and visible asap.

Runningclouds, maybe we should switch places! I have to say that I am very, very disappointed that no one seems interested in resolving this problem. The funny thing is, they are fully aware of it!

You misunderstand. Since last August private blogs, which can be viewed only by users chosen by the administrator, track the page views of all of their users.
