  I am thinking of starting a blog and I have been reading some threads about problems with privacy. I would like to confirm the following:

  There are two ways to make a blog private:

  1) Changing the setting to make the whole blog private.

  2) Ensuring the setting on each post is private.

  I understand from some fellow bloggers, there are some who can still access a blog if it is private. I would like to inquire, if I start a blog and the setting is on public but every post is private, would it be possible for the people whom I am inviting to see the posts? Also, if the setting on the blog itself is private and every post I write, I decided to select “private” does this mean that my friends would not be able to see my posts?

  I would like to make my blog private(at least for now). How do I make sure no one else can access it? It sounds like there are some problems.
