privacy settings

I can’t find the privacy settings and have been searching. I want to have private settings instead of public. I am at My Site and see account settings and security and have explored them but can’t find privacy anywhere. I’m new to wordpress and would appreciate help with this issue. Thank you.

These settings should be located at My Site → Settings and then look for Privacy. It should be about halfway down the page.

Thank you so much for helping me. I’m so embarrassed but what can I say even with your clear instructions I’m having trouble. If you have a moment more could you add a little more guidance. What I have done is click on the circle that looks like a person (photo should probably go there) and the page I get is My Profile, Account Settings, Billing History, Security, etc.

I found it! You have been so helpful and can’t tell you how much I appreciate your time and effort in helping with this. There is a bit of a learning curve. Hope I make it around the bend.

You’re very welcome and I’m glad you found it! There is absolutely no reason to be embarrassed. Even the most simplest of jobs is nearly impossible until you know where to do it, but that’s where the learning curve comes in. I don’t have any doubt you’ll speed around that curve and do great things!
