your screen looks nothing like mine. When i click on this eye thing I get a different menu. Seems like all your tutorials are about blogging mostly. Setting up the site is very difficult and counter intuitive.
Is there a good video on that? -
It looks like the screenshots/support docs need updating since the Post Editor in the Calypso dashboard has undergone some changes recently
If your dashboard looks like this temporary screenshot, click the Post Settings button and under STATUS click the eye icon to set the post privacy.
I’m also tagging this for Staff attention to note the need to update the documents.

We changed the position of the sidebar in the editor a few days ago — but the screenshots in this support document don’t reflect the change yet. We are currently working on updating our documentation.
The screenshot justjennifer has sent you a link to shows where to change the visibility setting for your post (under Status):

Any thoughts on what happened with the cloudup share link URL (local-cloudup) in my first post? That is the URL that was copied to the clipboard on cloudup.

I made some changes to my menus. When I go to leave page is says I have unsaved changes but there is no way I can see to save those changes. No save button or anything.

If you don’t see a save button there, please take a screenshot and upload it to your site’s Media Library so that Staff can see what you see.

After I left and returned to the page the save button was there. I was following the video instructions. Now when I hit save it says “sorry we cannot create this menu” I added one menu with 2 subcatagories.

Since your site is marked Private, you will need to wait patiently for Staff to assist you as we forum volunteers cannot see Private sites.

Are you editing the Menu from your Customizer or My Sites > Menus?
You won’t be able to attach a screenshot to your reply, please can you send it using Snaggy or Cloudup? Then I can take a look at what you are seeing.
justjennifer — not sure what happened with your first screenshot, the second one came through fine though.
