  Someone is offering me money to place an ad on my blog. Is this possible, permitted, good?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not allowed unless you are in the VIP Program (high traffic and costs I think $2500/mo)

  If you put ads on your site the blog will be suspended and all your content goes away.

  I think you may benefit from reading this support documentation entyr that clearly describes the differences between free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.COM on this multi-user blogging platform, and free standing software installs for self hosting from WordPress.ORG. On the latter you may have advertising but that requires hiring a web host and transferring the content of your free hosted WordPress.COM blog into a WordPress.ORG install.
