  Hi:
  I have created this blog and want to ensure that when inviting participants it does not matter their email. I had created a blog in Blogger and find out the participants you invite must have gmail account. This is not a good solution. I also want to create another Blog again private and want to store and allow participants to view confidential videos. Is this possible? Is there a maximum storage limit?? We have been trying to sort this out for more than a year. HELP!!

  Note this please. The e-mail address registered with your WordPress.com account is your unique identifier. An email addres is required for anyone who has an official user role on any blog here.

  Adding Viewers to a Private Blog
  If you want others to be able to view your private blog (and add comments, if you’ve enabled them) you’ll need to invite them to be a viewer. http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-view-your-private-blog These people will now be able to read your private blog, and add comments if you’ve enabled them. They will not have access to your dashboard, nor will they be able to edit your blog.

  view confidential videos. Is this possible? Is there a maximum storage limit?

  Are you talking about displaying videos of your own creation on the blog? if so then you need to purchase a videopress upgrade.

  Yes I saw that and don’t mind buying that but want to ensure the capacity and privacy??

  Is there a limit for the video storage??

  Each blog comes with 3 GB of free space, which you can then purchase expansions for as needed.

  Again – to view the participant does not have to have any particular email??

  The viewer will need to register a WordPress.com account, but we do not restrict email addresses.

  I am not clear about registering WordPress account?? Is this where they would access the Blog?? I am also wondering if there is a maximum as we have lots of storage required as videos are large.
  I just bought the 2 themes and trying to download them now – arggghh through Studio Press – always fun!!

  We need some way to keep track of who is allowed to view your blog and who isn’t. The way we do that is you invite them to your blog, they register a WordPress.com account, and that WordPress.com account is given permission to view your blog.

  There is no maximum to the store space. You get 3 GB for free and can purchase additional Space Upgrades to increase that.
