  I want my blog to be private, but would like to invite viewers through Facebook. Is that possible?

  No. Readers have to sign in through WordPress.com, not Facebook. Otherwise Facebook, not WordPress, would be guaranteeing their identity. That’s not good enough security for a WordPress.com site.
